Utopia
A utopia typically describes an imaginary community or society that possesses highly desirable or nearly perfect qualities for it's members.

Dystopia
A typical Dystopia is one which is often, but not always, set in the future, in a society where the government is corrupt and/or ineffectual. The world within the film often has nightmare-like qualities, though it also usually includes elements of contemporary Society.
Storyline Development
This movie is about a scientist Named Will who takes care of a chimp whose mother was a test subject for a cure that help restore's the brain function and since he was born while his mother was on the cure he has human intelligence and understanding but has he grows older he becomes more dangerous. This movie so far is pretty good and I want to watch the rest of it.

Blade Runner
Blade Runner is a 1980s movie that takes place in 2019 which is a dystopian future and has a guy interrogate another guy then the guy shoots and the police arrest a innocent guy. The type of genre is sci fi, the style is futuristic but since it's made in the 80s it's like a depiction of the future. It's like a dystopian future with cold and heartless people in it, it looks like it was inspired by Hong Kong back in the day.

The Batman
The Batman is the most recent film incarnation of the Dark Knight. The Genre is action and superhero, the visual style is dark because it's taken place at night and in the rain, the environment is the city that's filled with crimes and different gangs, the editing style is modern because it released last year.

There Will Be Blood
There Will Be Blood starts off in 1898 with a guy in a hole pickaxing, and he uses a lighter to blow up part of it and he falls during the process and hurts his leg. Four years pass since then. The type of genre is drama, the visual style is old western since this is 1898. the environment is all dirty because is in the desert, the editing style is unique because there is no dialogue other than grunt and pain noises.

The Royal Tenenbaums
The Royal Tenenbaums is about 3 rich kids who's parents have split up. The type of genre is both comedy and drama, the visual style is pretty bright, the enviroment is upscaled due to the rich, the editing style is quite goofy. It's used to build up these characters to the present day, the audio is very effective.

The reason I like 24 so much is because each season takes place in one day and every episode name is for example 12:00AM to 1:00AM. It's also action packed which I like, it keeps you on your toes and it always has a clock that keeps ticking. one episode is 40 minutes long which is a missed opportunity to make every episode an hour.

The Banshee of Insherin
Set on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland, THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN follows lifelong friends Padraic (Colin Farrell) and Colm (Brendan Gleeson), who find themselves at an impasse when Colm unexpectedly puts an end to their friendship. The type of genre is dark comedy, the visual style looks like it's from the middle ages and the environment is 12th 13th century.

This Scene shows Obi Wan Kenobi (The One Above) as the one with the advantage or power and Anakin Skywalker (The One Below) whose's arrogance leads to his defeat. The Music is very tense and builds to the end of the fight. The Lighting is very dark who fits with the premise of the battle with the one above being forced to fight his fallen apprentice who has been corrupted to the dark side. The colours match the dark aesthetic with the red lava surrounding them. The props we have (of course) we have the lightsabers which you can identify from far away. The costumes they wear represent their morality with the one above having lighter clothes which shows he's part of the light side, unlike the one below who has darker clothes which represents he's now fallen to the dark side.

The Green in this shot shows the sanity of the Joker and how his hair is green. It could also be used to represent how ill the Joker is.
Film Tax Relief
This is my amv of All Hail Shadow which is used for my technical skills and how well I can make a fan made music video, I made this within 30-40 minutes because it's about a character I like and I use his theme from his best characterisation which is Sonic 06.

Black Mirror
The episode I watched was The Entire History of You which is about a couple who are in a world where everyone has a memory implant which allows them to record memories. I think they got the idea for this episode because they probably wondered what it would be like if everyone can keep every memories that's happened to them over the course of their life. I can relate because there's one point in your life that you will remember an embarrassing thing in your life after years of it happening, so this episode is pretty much what if you remember everything in your life.
Recurring themes throughout Black Mirror include data privacy and surveillance, virtual reality, individualism and consumerism. Many episodes have plot twists. However, individual episodes explore varying genres.

Big Talk Productions
Big Talk Productions was founded on February 11th, 1994, by Nira Park and was acquired by ITV Studios, it's first feature length movie was Shaun of the Dead, and their other work includes Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Man Up and Grimsby. Their First TV show was Spaced in 1999. Since they have made, Free Agents, Friday Night Dinner and The Job Lot.

Band of Brothers is a TV show based on World War 2. The episode I watched was called Bastogne which follows a solider witness many of his comrade's die. Scared, he goes back with his buddy as they encounter someone who they believe to be the enemy and they capture him to take to their general. Our main character just mainly looks over at what is unfolding with his own eyes. The dialogue doesn't start until they capture that guy which is perfect timing because for the first minute or two you don't need dialogue because of the different facial expressions the main character gives.

This episode has a great amount of props such as the dinner table, the TV and the bed. The costumes are mostly light blue or yellow. The colour is also used really well. The frames it uses are very dynamic and expressive.
Band of Brothers: Bastogne

This is my 20 second video I made about what is considered to be one of the worst video games of all time (Sonic 06) and it's me building up to it. I like the lighting and how it builds up to it but if I could change it I would have it start with me waking up and having the game on TV with me fighting one of the worst bosses in video game history (Silver) whose line I used in my actual video with me screaming "no!"

This is the my favourite of the 20 second videos we watched called basketball. I liked how incredibly fast paced it is and how fast the two characters go at each other, and I love the sound of the twisted ankle and the shot at the end. It's a great epilogue to it that actually shows the twisted ankle.

The Revenant

Pulp Fiction

The camera is panning out to show the entirely of the basement and where they are. This guy has two people tied up with ball gags in their mouths. The performer is bringing a sense of fear and danger, the camera also shows how the guy is getting ready to do something even worse by leaving the room.
I really like the director's role because they are the ones that are in charge of the entire project they're the ones getting all the actors.
They are responsible for any effect that is manually or mechanically manipulated for screen. These could include, for example, pyrotechnics, weather effects such as rain or snow, or the use of mechanical props.

Jurassic Park
What Job Roles do I Like
Property manager responsibilities include setting and collecting rent, handling maintenance requests, filling vacant units and potentially setting the budget for the property. Property managers often take care of property that real estate investors either do not live near or do not wish to personally manage
I really like what an actor does because they are the ones that you are going to see in the movie. Some actors aren't good but most are and there are some that don't get enough appreciation.
Concept artists are responsible for the style and look of a game. They are the first to draw the environments, enemies and player characters. Working with a brief from the producer, their sketches are used to help 3D artists, producers, programmers and publishers understand how the game will look.
Essential Job Roles
The Pre Production roles that are essential are the Director because they are in control of everything that goes on, storyboards artists because they draw up the scenes and write a description on what's happening in that scene and Location scouting because they plan the locations they use for the movie.
.jpeg)
The Production Job Roles that are essential are actors because when you're filming you need actors to act out their scenes, writers or a writer because you need a script in order to know what's going on.
Three Jobs I might look into a career path
The Post-Production Job Roles that are essential are Editors to put the movie together this process usually takes a long time,Distributer markets the film and sells the films as well.
Cross-cutting themes are additional issues or areas that intersect with the main project or can be easily integrated into the project without losing focus of the main goal. These themes can be an effective tool for explaining how targeted impact in one project area can also have a much wider effect.
A cutaway shot is a shot that "cuts away" from the main action to any shot that adds visual information, and then returns to the original shot with new meaning. Imagery shown in a cutaway can occur anywhere in relation to your scene, and have no strict geographical requirement.
Optically, defocus refers to a translation of the focus along the optical axis away from the detection surface. In general, defocus reduces the sharpness and contrast of the image. What should be sharp, high-contrast edges in a scene become gradual transitions.
A fade in is an opening shot or transition technique film editors use to ease viewers into new imagery, rather than using a sudden cut from scene to scene.
An iris shot is a technique used in silent film and television sometimes to emphasize a detail of a scene above all others, more commonly to end or open a scene.[1][2] The film camera's iris is slowly closed or opened, so that what is visible on film appears in a decreasing or increasing circle, surrounded by black.
The three jobs I would possibly want to do as a career path are Director, Actor or Editor
Asynchronous sound is audio that doesn't match up with visuals. Discover clever ways to introduce asynchronous sound into your next film project. When sound doesn't match a film's visuals, it's asynchronous.
In film and video, a cut is defined by when one clip ends and another one begins. For example, say you have a wide shot clip of a horse running as well as a close up clip of a woman's eyes watching. The “cut” would occur when the first shot ends and is followed by the second shot. That's just a basic example, though.
Any shot whose only objective is to draw the viewer's attention to a single aspect inside a scene is referred to as a cut-in/insert shot. These shots are frequently taken from the perspective of a character, implying that we see what the topic sees during a focused moment.
In film, not all moments are created equal. There are some moments or sequences that you want to stand out in a particularly dramatic, eye-catching way — that’s where dynamic cutting comes in. Let’s explore more about this creative film technique and when you might employ it in your own work.
An example of the invisible cut could be a character walking towards the camera, completely covering it, the cut would be introduced with a shot of the character walking away from the back
What is a jump cut? In filmmaking, a jump cut is an edit to a single, sequential shot that makes the action appear to leap forward in time. After the cut, the subject may appear in a different position or attitude, or the camera position may be slightly different.
In photography, washing is an important part of all film processing and printmaking processes. After materials have been fixed, washing removes unwanted and exhausted processing chemicals which, if left in situ, may cause deterioration and destruction of the image.[1]
A match cut is an edit in cinematography that uses elements of one scene in the transition to the next scene. The purpose is to create a visual match for different scenes that are not inherently linked, like scenes set in different locations, by having a second shot that — in some way — mirrors the first.
Definition. Morphing. Visual effects technique which transforms one shape into another in a smooth transition. Tweening. Animation effect which inserts images between keyframes to create the effect of movement.
A wipe transition is a transition technique used in post-production editing in which one shot replaces another by moving or “wiping” from one side of the frame to another. The wipe transition can be done from any direction and in various shapes.
A whip pan shot, also known as a swish pan effect, is a cinematography term that describes a camera movement that literally whips the camera back and forth on its x-axis to create a disorienting motion blur effect.
A dissolve is a gradual editing transition that moves from one image to the next. Most dissolves occur over 24-48 frames (1-2 seconds in films shot at standard frame rate) but there's no limit to how long they can be.

-
Set it up with the shot(s) before.
-
Bring the audience into the film.
-
Use wide-angle or fisheye lenses to mirror the eye.
-
Direct your actors accordingly.
-
Focus on showing a character's reaction.
-
Don't be afraid to add movement.
When to use a POV shot? POV shots are the most used when the director wants to carry any emotions to a particular scene and attract the audience to the center of the action. Additionally, these shots must be used only when the storyline demands them.
Sliders allow you to smoothly move the camera on a horizontal plane (left to right or a backward/forward motion). Some sliders even let you move up and down. Once again, if this is executed with a purpose, it really adds another dimension to your story.

Hand-held camera or hand-held shooting is a filmmaking and video production technique in which a camera is held in the camera operator's hands as opposed to being mounted on a tripod or other base.
Drone photography is the capture of still images and video by a remotely-operated or autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), also known as an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) or, more commonly, as a drone.

My Inspirations

Film Pitch: Loading...
My idea is about a gamer named Adam Silver who hates his life, he's miserable at his job and he wishes he can go to the gaming world, and he gets his wish. But then realizes he'd rather be in the real world, so he must complete the game to escape, and he learns to appreciate the real world for what it is. The story is a "be careful about what you wish for story." I got my idea from Free Guy, Coraline and Jumanji.
Why Pick My idea and Why Hire Me
-
One Reason to pick my Idea is because I can use the game world in creative ways.
-
Another Reason is because I'm a great cameraman an I can use a variety of different shots such as the long shot, the close shot and the medium shot
-
Another Reason to pick my Idea is because my idea has a narrative behind it it's a be careful what you wish for type of plot with a gamer getting his wish to be in the game but only to find out it's not so great after all.

-
I got Inspirations from different films such as Free Guy, Jumanji and Coraline.
-
Free Guy because it's about an NPC in a video game.
-
Jumanji because the characters get sucked into a videogame and they are different characters in the game.
-
Coraline because it's a be careful about what your wish for story and how you should be grateful for your life.

Script writing (or screenwriting) is the process of writing stories in the screenplay medium. Script writing is writing down the movement, actions, expression and dialogue of the characters in screenplay, in screenplay format. The process of writing a novel, a poem, or essay, is entirely different than script writing.
If you take a look at some film treatment examples in the industry, you’ll notice they vary in length, content, and even format. While there isn’t necessarily a definitive template for treatment, understanding the foundational definition of a film treatment will help you write an effective one.

This is my 40 second video I created and it was much better than my last video I made. The different shots I had and my performance were okay and the ending was great, the only problem was me looking into the camera as it kind of ruins the video. Also my "no" at the end wasn't at great as I thought it would be.

This was my favourite 40 second video I watched. I liked how it's about a guy who sees a version of himself when he doesn't take his pills and the different compositions that were used were great and the ending is amazing with the guy completed paralysed. I think my only real problem with it is the beginning when he sits down and the doppelgänger is there already. He should've waited a couple of seconds before having the doppelgänger appear.

Loading... Synopsis
This is a synopsis of my film i'm gonna pitch called Loading... This is about a gamer who gets sucked into the video game world after getting a game of a mysterious website and gets his wish of being in the game world but realizes the gaming world is not as great as he thought and now has to work with various video game characters such as Mario and Luigi to find a way back to his world. I got inspired by several films such as Free Guy, Coraline and Jumanji but I changed the idea to be original I didn't just copy those movies.

Target Audience
-
The Target Audience for this film is for gamers ranging from 13 to mid 30s for all the old video game references. My film is for a specific age because no one in their 60s or 70s would be interested in the film.
-
The film will be a 12 rating with moderate bad language and violence so you must be 12 and over to watch it and to buy it.
Budget
-
This movie would be at least thousands of pounds but it's under million pounds it's more of a budgeted film which is the intention of the project.
-
My cast won't be that big due to the smaller budget, but it will include a decent amount of props.
Final Cast
Adam Silver- Ben Schwartz Mario- Chris Pratt Luigi- Charlie Day Mr Kamoshida/Master Kamoshida - Alfred Molina Master Chief- Ryan Reynolds Kratos- Tom Hardy Jill Valentine- Sienna Guillory Sonic- Jason Griffith

Production Schedule
.jpeg)
.jpeg)
A production schedule lists every single product that’ll be manufactured, including where and when they’ll be made.
It includes every detail, from raw materials to logistics. It also incorporates various processes designed to make production run smoothly while helping managers spot potential issues — like bottlenecks — and stop them before they explode into something bigger. For this reason, it’s a flexible, changeable document that you’ll need to update and check regularly.
Launch Date for Loading...
The date my film will be complete by the 10th December, just before Christmas, I've only got to do the script which I'm still working on and the storyboard which won't take me that long. I hope to gather footage from the real world but also from the game world by using special effects, I hope to get the film ready as soon as possible.
Treatment
I Thought of an idea about a regular ordinary guy who goes to the game world and meets different npcs. Then I thought it felt too much like Free Guy just with a couple changes so I reworked my idea to have different video game characters and worlds, I also changed my character to be a gamer who hates the real world and wishes he can go to the gaming world, so I had to think of a way to get there. So I made a plot point where he buys a game from a shady website and as soon as he gets it and tries to play he gets transported to the game world. I came up with different names such as Render and Press Start But I settled on Loading... because I thought that would be the best title. Ever since I've been working on a script and planning to do my storyboards.

Risk Assessment
-
A Risk Assessment is a list of risks that can go on during a film's production such as an accident like someone breaking their arm, or not being able to go to a certain location, people having panic attacks, paying disputes, failing to get to the studio to act.
-
It's important to use because it lists all the risks that can occur in a production from paying disputes to accidents to switching locations
-
For example, The film WaterWorld had a horrible production because they had expensive equipment and some of the actors got sick during the production and the production stopped until someone else was able to finish the movie, I'm not sure if they had a risk assessment but if they did, they should've followed it better or improve it.

Film Pitch Evaluation
This is mine evaluation of my Film Pitch and it went much better than I thought it was going to be and the feedback was really positive as they said they liked my idea. But I did have some criticism such as not showing what the game world looks like, going a bit too fast and not giving time to read all the sildes. I also didn't have a lot of time to read all the sildes so I couldn't read all the cast members and why I picked them for this role because we only had five minutes and I thought showing the synopsis, the Protagonist and Antagonist and the three act structure. I've gone back and improve of some things such as actually showing what the gaming world would actually look like. I also chose my director who is James Cameron because I was lacking a director for a while now and now I've got one. I can learn from this pitch and improve on it for Friday's pitch which hopefully should go well.
Case Study Pixels
The Short Film I watched is called Pixels which is about different video game characters coming into the real world in the form of pixels wrecking havoc across the world. The visuals are great and it doesn't clash with the real world and the film that it became is called pixels which released in 2015 which brought these game character into the real world, the short film is simplistic in terms of what is going on.
